Projectile Motion

Projetile motion is the motion of an object projected through
the air at an angle. Some examples of projectile motion include: kicking the
soccer ball, throwing the baseball or football and even shooting cannons and guns!
Below is an animation of projectile motion. In this animation the cannon is
shooting the ball that increases by 10 meters per second while eventually leading
up to 120 meters per second, taking ten seconds to get to the bottom of the ground.<
Projectile motion is also part of parabolic motion.
Parabolic motion has the following properties:
They are under constant acceleration.
There exist's a non-zero component which is perpendicular to the acceleration so as to produce
a parabolic path .
If this condition is not satisfied, the motion is a linear motion
