Exploration: The School to Career
Connection
"What do you want to be when
you grow up?"
- You have been asked that since you were
a small child. Now however is when what you do dramatically
affects the answer to that question. According to Stephen Covey,
author of "First Things First", you need to put "compass before
clock". Many students spend "time" at their their high school but
do so without "direction". What good does it do to climb the
ladder of success, only to find out the ladder is leaning against
the wrong wall? The following activity is meant to give you time
to find "direction".
