Climate Survey
What is it?: "The School Climate Inventory, developed by researchers at the Center for Research in Educational Policy at The University of Memphis, is the systematic collection and reporting of school-based data. Using the SCI allows school leaders to assess the perceptions of school personnel and to develop strategies to address those climate factors that may inhibit or limit school effectiveness. Sharing of the data yielded by this instrument with school practitioners can assist and motivate them to adopt behaviors likely to result in improved organizational climates and better support of teaching and learning."
