  • Senior nomination deadline is January 12, 2010 - Things to turn in:
    1. Application: completed and typed application. No hand-written applications will be accepted. Please visit website for the writable application.
    2. Support documents must include a letter of recommendation with specific information about the nominee’s community service.
    3. A 2x3 inch color photograph of nominee
  • Senior sponsors and committee members will select one representative for each of the 15 categories. Committee Meeting is scheduled for January 13, 2010
  • Representative from each category will re-submit application, supporting documents, photo and letters of recommendation to Mrs. Kinney by February 5, 2010 for final review
  • FSUS DEADLINE is NOON on February 17, 2009 (Packets must be complete and ready to be submitted to the Best and Brightest Committee). NO EXCUSES/NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Mrs. Linda Smith

• Mrs. Smith is the middle school guidance counselor at Florida State University Schools in Tallahassee, Florida. A native Floridian with over 20 years of experiences as educator and guidance counselor, she has served Florida's children at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Current Florida Teacher Certifications include: Guidance and Counseling (Pre-k through 12th grades), Elementary Education (Kdgn. through 6th grades), Early Childhood Education, and Endorsement in ESOL.
