Eligibility: K-12 (any area)
Objective: A program designed to strengthen education through classroom projects that use digital imaging and the power of visual learning (example winner projects on-line).
Award: $500 cash reimbursement for materials etc., 3 Olympus digital cameras, 1 one Tool Factory Software license for digital imaging software bundle.

Teacher Development

Program: ING Unsung Heroes Award Program
Eligibility: teachers K-12
Objective: given to educators who pioneer new teaching methods and techniques that improve learning. Planned or already existing projects qualify.
Award: each calendar year 100 awards of $2,000; and a first prize of 25,000; second prize of $10,000; and third prize of $5,000 among grantees

Literacy
Grantor: National Endowment for the Humanities
Program: We the People Bookshelf
Eligibility: K-12 school library
Objective: A program that encourages young people to read classic books and explore themes in American history, culture, and ideas. School (K-12) and public libraries are invited to apply for fifteen thematically related books which embody the theme of "Becoming American."
Award: books and related materials
Deadline: Applications will be accepted between September 6, 2005 and March 1, 2006.
