Coach Rob came to FSUS as head coach in 2002 with the goal of continuing to build on the successes of those before him by fielding the best teams possible to compete against other teams in our area. Additionally he had challenged middle school students to join the Pre-season Tennis Hit Around to "plant the seeds for the future". Now in their forth year and under second year coach Laurel Humble, the boy's and girl's middle school teams play a full schedule of matches. When it comes to tennis Coach Rob has a simple philosophy. " The skills learned on the court, mainly sportsmanship and healthy competition, go far beyond the lines and fences, and I am proud to be able to teach these lessons to anyone willing to try the sport of a lifetime".
